How to get job alerts straight from company career pages
Updated 2026-11-07 · numbers from OpeningsFirst’s count of employers’ own career pages, refreshed daily.
Short answer: you can check career pages yourself, set a page-change watcher on each one, or use a job alert that reads career pages for you. Checking by hand works for 5–10 companies; beyond that an alert built on career pages is the only practical way. OpeningsFirst reads 108,125 career sites twice a day and sends new matches at 8 am and 6 pm.
Why career pages first
Employers publish a job on their own careers site (usually run on a hiring system such as Workday, Greenhouse, Lever or SuccessFactors) before it spreads to job boards. Applying there puts you among the first applicants, and you apply straight to the employer.
Three ways to do it
1. Check the pages yourself
Free, and fine for a short list. Bookmark each careers page, filter to your role and city, and check every day or two. It stops working once your list grows past about ten companies.
2. Watch each page for changes
Page-change tools email you when a careers page changes. They don’t know what a job is, so you get an email for every change, including ones that aren’t your role, and you set one up per company.
3. An alert that reads career pages for you
OpeningsFirst reads the career pages of 87,057 employers in the US and India and matches each new job to your roles, level and cities. You get one email at 8 am and 6 pm with the new matches and a link to apply on the employer’s site.
What you’d get this week
- Jobs in India: 24,769 posted in the last 7 days
- Jobs in the US: 265,775 posted in the last 7 days
- Senior and manager-level jobs in India: 12,198 posted in the last 7 days
- Senior and manager-level jobs in the US: 69,093 posted in the last 7 days
Listings older than 5 days are public on this site, so you can see the kind of jobs before you sign up.
