Job Details Description Position Summary: Prepping and monitoring patients during cardiovascular imaging and invasive heart procedures. Assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of disease or injury by creating images using imaging equipment. Operating diagnostic imaging equipment. Administering contrast. Assisting physicians and coworkers with procedures. Monitoring patient vital signs during procedures. Maintaining supplies and radiation safety. Experience Preferred: 1 to 3 years Cath Lab/Special Procedures/Radiology experience, EKG interpretation preferred Education Required: Diploma/Associates Degree/bachelor’s degree from accredited radiology or cardiovascular program. License and Credentials Required: ARRT and NJ Radiology license required for Radiology Technologist. BLS required Preferred: Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT), CV certification, CI certification, RCVT/RCIS/RCES. ACLS preferred, must obtain within one year of hire. Skills Required: Understand radiation safety or experience with patient care and patient interaction Preferred: Ability to assist in cardiac procedures Bi-Weekly Hours: 80 Work Schedule: 7:30am to 6:00pm plus on call.
