When he is in New York, responsibilities become more personalised, including assisting with unpacking following international travel, expert ironing and wardrobe organisation, maintaining the principal’s private living spaces, and preparing a light breakfast as required. The ideal candidate is naturally proactive, observant, and attentive to detail, with the ability to anticipate needs without direction. Exceptional garment care, a professional and composed manner, and absolute discretion are essential. The principal typically spends approximately one week per month in New York, so the schedule varies according to his travel plans. Role Responsibilities • Maintain the apartment during the principal’s absence through light housekeeping, dusting, surface care, airing the residence, and maintaining the balcony and outdoor plants. • Ensure the apartment is immaculate, fresh, and prepared ahead of the principal’s return. • Assist with unpacking after international travel, organising clothing, ironing, and maintaining the wardrobe throughout his stay. • Maintain the principal’s bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and living areas to exceptional standards. • Attend to finer details, including bathroom presentation, shower glass, fresh hand towels, and general organisation. • Prepare a light breakfast when required. • Keep the kitchen tidy and ensure dishes are cleaned after use. • Anticipate household needs and maintain a consistently high standard of personalised service while respecting the principal’s privacy.
