Find out more at: www.solotech.com The 2nd Shift Warehouse Technician is responsible for preparing, scanning, and receiving rental equipment, supporting the preparation and return of touring equipment, and assisting with the loading and unloading of trucks to support live production operations. The hourly rate is $20.86/hour. Your day will look like this: • Perform quality control checks and maintain equipment • Keep the warehouse clean and organized, reporting any damage or hazards to the supervisor • Pull equipment orders for upcoming events • Examine equipment lists for tours and assist with pulling tour orders • Prepare, scan, and receive orders in the R2 inventory system • Ensure all equipment shipped to planned locations is in excellent condition • Report damaged or missing items to the supervisor • Track equipment inventories and perform periodic inventory counts • Respond to questions and resolve issues raised by technicians, coordinators, and touring personnel • Clean and visually inspect returned equipment • Follow company and industry quality standards for equipment preparation • Perform other duties related to the position as assigned Your profile: • High school diploma or GED • Less than one (1) year of experience in live event production or event rental equipment • Less than one (1) year of experience in a warehouse environment • Knowledge of inventory software preferred • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, and Outlook • Familiarity with computer networking, applicable hardware, and software preferred • Strong problem-solving skills • Thoroughness and attention to detail • Well-developed organizational skills • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate information clearly and logically • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team • Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks within tight deadlines • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change • Strong customer service skills • Forklift certification preferred Physical Requirements: This is not an all-inclusive list but is intended to give an overview of the requirements for this position.
