THE OPPORTUNITY This is a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of transaction finance, strategic FP&A and value creation. The successful candidate will shape the financial fact base and forward plan for a future exit, with direct exposure to the CFO, CEO, PE sponsor team, Board and global advisors. The mandate goes beyond executing a transaction. The role will build durable strategic-finance and performance-management capabilities for the Group. Working backward from the requirements of sophisticated buyers and their advisors, the VP will lead the Group’s exit-finance and transaction-analytics workstream. The role owns the analytical interpretation of historical performance, the quality and defensibility of the multi-year plans, and the financial evidence supporting the equity story and deal mechanics. The VP may mobilize finance resources across Group and Site teams and establish common exit-related data and analytical requirements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Lead exit finance strategy and transaction analytics • Lead the financial workstream for exit preparation and execution, including FDD, VDD / sell-side QoE, management and buyer Q&A, data-room financial content and coordination with financial, tax and legal advisors. • Act as the CFO’s principal partner on transaction analytics, ensuring that management, the PE sponsor, advisors and potential buyers work from a consistent, controlled and well-supported financial fact base. 2. Define the historical data architecture required for exit • Design the analytical architecture for historical financial and operational data, defining the required dimensions, methodologies, time horizons, level of granularity and drill-down standards across sites, customers, programs, projects, products and accounts. • Translate buyer, QoE and management-analysis requirements into clear data specifications for the Group Controller and broader finance organization. • Validate that the resulting controlled data foundation supports the required exit analysis. 3. Own the analytical integrity of the 3–5 year business plan • Lead the development of an integrated, driver-based business plan covering the P&L, working capital, cash flow, capex, headcount, capacity and balance sheet, supported by clearly defined Base, Upside and Downside scenarios. • Build a robust historical-to-forecast bridge, clearly distinguishing contracted and committed revenue from pipeline opportunities and management initiatives, and translate the plan’s critical drivers and value-creation levers into specific management actions, accountable owners, milestones and measurable financial outcomes. 4. Build the QoE and operating-performance fact base • Own the analysis of reported, adjusted and run-rate EBITDA, with an evidence-backed adjustment ledger covering definition, rationale, sustainability and supporting documentation. • Explain profitability across customers, programs, products and sites through price, volume, mix, cost, utilization and operating-efficiency analysis. • Establish a clear view of NPD economics, including project-level performance, lifecycle returns and the conversion of NPD programs into recurring commercial manufacturing revenue 5. Own cash, capital and valuation analysis • Lead the analysis of cash conversion, working capital and capex, including EBITDA-to-operating-cash-flow and free-cash-flow bridges and the funding requirements necessary to deliver the business plan. • Develop evidence-based positions on net debt, debt-like and cash-like items, normalized working capital and other key transaction adjustments. • Connect operating performance and management initiatives to cash generation, capital requirements and the EV-to-equity value bridge. 6. Build long-term strategic-finance capability • Institutionalize repeatable strategic-planning, performance-management and transaction-readiness disciplines that continue to support the Group beyond the exit. • Support the CFO in raising analytical standards across the organization and help management connect operational decisions and actions to earnings, cash flow and valuation. • Strengthen the Group’s ability to respond rapidly and consistently to the information requirements of management, the Board, shareholders and future capital-market or transaction processes. QUALIFICATIONS Required: • End-to-end transaction experience and finance expertise: Direct, substantive involvement in at least one complete sell-side exit or buy-side transaction, covering preparation, VDD/QoE or FDD, management and buyer Q&A, key deal adjustments, and execution through closing. Strong command of transaction-finance analytics, such as adjusted and run-rate EBITDA, normalized working capital, net debt and debt-like items, cash-flow,etc. • Professional background: Experience in Transaction Services (FDD), investment banking, ideally complemented by in-house FP&A or Finance Director experience. • Complex analytical ownership: Ability to structure, analyze and explain complex multi-country, multi-site financial data and drive delivery across finance teams. • : Credibility and presence to work directly with the CFO, CEO, PE sponsor, Board, global buyers and advisors. • Cross-border manufacturing experience: Practical experience in a multinational manufacturing or industrial environment, with a sound understanding of manufacturing and project costing, revenue recognition, and relevant compliance requirements. • Experience and language: At least 10 years of progressive finance experience, native/near-native English communication skills. Mandarin proficiency would be an advantage. • Details and evidence driven • Resilient and composed under pressure, with high standards for accuracy and responsiveness. • Hands-on owner and effective cross-functional leader who can set the agenda and bring dispersed teams to deliver the project together. Strongly preferred: • Experience in a PE-backed, multi-entity environment and in building finance capability under demanding timelines. • Medical device, life sciences, regulated CDMO or contract-manufacturing experience. • Ability to define data requirements and work effectively with ERP, IT and BI teams to automate reporting and analysis. • CPA / CFA / ACCA or equivalent.
