A new destination wine bar and lounge is debuting in Napa! The concept is built around a globally sourced wine program in a relaxed, unpretentious setting. The menu takes its cues from the wine list: ever evolving, ingredient-driven, and as global as the bottles it pairs with. This is an exciting opportunity for a chef who thrives off of creativity and menus changing daily. The team is seeking a Chef de Cuisine (flexible on title to be Executive Chef) to collaborate closely with a renowned Chef Partner. With the goal of becoming the Wine Country hangout of choice for industry folks, the hyper seasonal menu will be paired with rare and benchmark wines, for an unforgettable experience. Chef de Cuisine Responsibilities: • Collaborate closely with the Chef Partner to develop opening menu, ongoing evolution, and execute a tightly curated menu • Champion the culinary vision, driving the creative and seasonal direction • Lead daily kitchen operations with a strong hands-on presence • Build, train, and mentor a high-performing culinary team from the ground up • Ensure all dishes meet Michelin-level standards in execution, presentation, and consistency • Manage staffing, scheduling, and team development • Maintain strong control of food cost, labor, and overall kitchen efficiency • Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement Chef de Cuisine Preferred Requirements: • 1+ years as an Executive Chef OR 3+ years in a leadership role (Chef de Cuisine, Senior Sous Chef, Executive Sous Chef • Michelin-starred, World Top 50 Best or James Beard recognized background • Highly collaborative with the ability to take direction and execute at a high level • Innovative mindset with a passion for pushing creative boundaries • Experience building or opening new concepts • World-traveled culinary perspective is a plus but not required • Energetic, eager, and driven with a strong sense of ownership • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays Compensation Includes: • Base salary in $115k-$130k range • Bonus structure • Medical, dental and vision insurance • 401K with matching • PTO plan
