Position Summary The Warehouse Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining efficient, accurate, and safe warehouse operations. This position is responsible for operating sit-down forklifts, utilizing RF handheld devices, and supporting all warehouse functions including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling. Successful candidates will be cross-trained across multiple warehouse functions and work both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities • Safely operate sit-down forklifts to load, unload, move, and store materials. • Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers using forklifts and pallet jacks. • Navigate warehouse aisles and storage areas while following all safety procedures. • Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns. • Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory. • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments. • Prepare outbound shipments through proper labeling, staging, and documentation. • Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies. • Execute inventory control and warehouse data entry functions through handheld and computer systems. • Support order picking, packing, replenishment, and returns processing. • Follow proper product storage and stacking procedures. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. • Comply with all company policies, OSHA regulations, TSA requirements, and Customs security procedures. • Participate in cross-training opportunities to support operational flexibility. • Work overtime and weekends as required by business needs. • Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications • High School Diploma or GED required. • One (1) to five (5) years of warehouse experience preferred. • Forklift certification required. • Experience operating RF scanners and warehouse management systems preferred. • Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. • Ability to work independently and within a team environment. • Dependable with a strong work ethic and attendance record. Compensation and Benefits • Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour • Health Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision coverage after 90 days. • Time Off: Paid holidays and PTO available after 90 days. • PPE: Steel-toe boots required • Career Growth: Opportunities for advancement within RBT/BWT Logistics. Schedule Day Shift Tentatively 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Schedule may vary based on customer demands, operational needs, and workload requirements. Overtime and weekend work may be required.
