Job Details: Level: Entry, Job Location: Houston TX 2330 Holmes - Houston, TX, Salary Range: Undisclosed, The Associate Accountant will be responsible for various accounting functions in the FP&A group. Which includes but is not limited to month-end closing, uploading journal entries, assisting the team with entries and reporting. Review inventory adjustments and invoice registers.   Primary Responsibilities include but not limited: Inventory Register review to include negative margins on a weekly basis Inventory Adjustment review on a weekly basis for all companies Journal entry uploads into TitanWeb Compile and book journal entries Updates excel profit and loss workbook Assist the team with researching P&L expenses Assist with balance sheet reconciliation Assist with AP Clearing account reconciliation Assist with Audit for bank and general audit Package and PDF financials for all companies Ad-Hoc projects Qualifications: Qualifications and Skills: Accounting degree required or equivalent Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook experience (VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables) Strong Problem-Solving skills and analytical skills Detail-oriented is a must Interpersonal communication skills Strong work ethic Attendance and punctuality are very important and must be available to work overtime if needed, especially during month-end close Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
