Job Details: Job Location: Edison House - Salt Lake City, UT, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Title Senior Marketing Specialist JOB SUMMARY What: Edison House is looking for a hands-on Senior Marketing Specialist to run the marketing behind our memberships, private events and restaurants. You operate as a one-person marketing machine: you build the campaigns, manage creative production, and measure results. With many resources at your disposal, you will own paid media, email marketing, our referral and win-back programs, our creator/influencer program, our websites and search presence, and the weekly numbers that tell us what's working. The job in two words: generate leads. Why: Edison House grows when the right people find us, visit and join. This role owns that pipeline: a steady, growing flow of new member, event, and dining leads. This is not a strategize-and-let-others execute role; it is a hands-on execution role. Strategy is set in collaboration with the CEO. How: You'll report to the CEO and work alongside our creative and paid media agency partners and our Membership, Private Events and Food & Beverage teams. You are responsible for managing the key strategic and resource relationships that make the marketing engine work, and for deploying and optimizing a large marketing budget across multiple channels and managing the success of all marketing efforts. This is an individual contributor role, not a manager role; you execute the work yourself. TO BE SUCCESSFUL AS THE SENIOR MARKETING SPECIALIST YOU WILL NEED TO BE: • A doer first: you would rather launch it and fix it than plan it for another week • Fluent in both creative and numbers: you can make the ad and tell whether it worked • Relentless about follow-through: nothing you start sits half-finished • Comfortable as a team of one who also gets the most out of outside partners • A clear, direct writer with good taste and a feel for the Edison House brand • Proficient at using modern-day marketing tools, including Hubspot and AI, including both "do's" and "don'ts" of these technologies REGULAR DUTIES FOR SENIOR MARKETING SPECIALIST Paid media (about 30%) • Build, launch and optimize Google and Meta campaigns yourself, every week, measured against new members, event bookings and restaurant covers • Keep testing audiences, offers and creative, and shift spend toward what works Creative (about 25%) • Make ads, short-form video and copy yourself • Manage our social media accounts, including posting, planning, and audience engagement • Brief agency partners on larger shoots and campaigns, and check their work against the brand Owned channels and programs (about 30%) • Outbound email marketing across memberships, private events, and restaurant • Run our creator program: creator visits and creator nights • Grow Juniper reservations and build a list of diners we can reach again • Maintain our websites and Google profile, and grow our visibility in search and AI search • Collaboration with Sales to ensure CRM hygiene and make sure every lead source is captured and routed to the right team Measurement (about 15%) • Keep tracking and attribution accurate across every channel: what happened, why it happens, what it means and what we're doing next WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE • Lead flow grows month-over-month across memberships and private events, and you can explain why • Every week: new creative goes live, reports and data are reviewed carefully and budgets are optimized accordingly • Juniper builds a steady base of repeat diners • Agency partners understand expectations and deliver high-quality content on time ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS • [4+] years in marketing, running paid campaigns (Google, Meta) yourself • A portfolio that shows creative you made and the results of the campaigns it ran in • Working comfort with CRM and email tools (HubSpot a plus), Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads • Working skill with design and video editing tools (Adobe, Canva, CapCut or similar) A PLUS • Experience in hospitality, restaurant or membership marketing a plus • Experience as the entire marketing function at a small company a plus • Ability to work some evenings and weekends around launches, events and shoots • Standard technological proficiency (Microsoft Suite) Finalists will complete a short, paid work sample: review an ad account and name three fixes, then make three ads from raw photos and explain how you would test them.
