This role bridges the gap between high-level system requirements and detailed software development, ensuring traceability and consistency across the lifecycle. The Software Systems Engineer will * Decompose software requirements from systems and component requirements * Use Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies to define, design, and maintain complex system architectures using Cameo Systems Modeler (MagicDraw). ## Basic Qualifications Experience in systems engineering, software engineering, or related field. •Proven expertise in Cameo Systems Modeler / Cameo Enterprise Architecture or equivalent. • Knowledge of SysML (System Modeling Language) and/or UML (Unified Modeling Language) • Ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance (US Citizenship Required) ## Desired Skills • INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) or OMG Certified Systems Modeling Professional (OCSMP). • Demonstrated ability to author clear, concise, and traceable software requirements—including functional, non‑functional, and interface specifications—that align with stakeholder needs and project goals.
