Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week contract in Rapid City, SD. The role supports licensed PTs in delivering patient treatment plans, therapeutic exercises, and mobility training. Weekly pay up to $2,100 DOE. Key Responsibilities: • Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing patient treatment plans • Provide therapeutic exercises and mobility training to patients • Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to supervising PT • Document patient treatment and responses accurately • Ensure safety and comfort of patients during therapy sessions • Collaborate with the rehab team to achieve positive outcomes Qualifications: • Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program • Active South Dakota PTA license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start) • Current BLS certification required • Excellent communication and patient care skills Preferred Skills: • Previous clinical experience preferred
