Job Title Occupational Therapist – Inpatient Rehabilitation Location Florence, SC | Inpatient Acute Care Rehab Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 5x8s, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM | Weekends as needed (approximately 1–2 per month) | Holidays as needed | On-call not required Key Responsibilities • Provide occupational therapy evaluation and treatment services within a hospital-based inpatient acute care unit • Document patient care and progress using Epic electronic health records • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans • Participate in weekend coverage rotation as needed (approximately 1–2 weekends per month) • Adhere to facility protocols, including potential assignment to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June–November) Required Qualifications • Minimum 1 year of occupational therapy experience required • Active South Carolina or Multistate Compact Occupational Therapist License required at start of contract • BLS certification required • NBCOT certification required • First-time travelers are not eligible for this position • Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted Preferred Experience / Skills • Prior experience in a hospital-based inpatient or acute care rehabilitation setting • Familiarity with Epic electronic health records documentation • Experience working within a high-volume, fast-paced clinical environment Why Join Us • Complimentary on-site parking available for the duration of your assignment • Daytime schedule with no on-call requirements, offering a consistent and predictable work-life balance
