Job Title Travel RN – Outpatient Surgery / Pre-Op Location Bradenton, FL | Outpatient Surgery Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days, 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM with variable call schedule; unit operates 5:00 AM – 9:00 PM; shift options include 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts Key Responsibilities • Provide pre-operative nursing care across Pre-Op bays in a high-volume outpatient surgery setting • Support Phase 2 recovery and infusion center patients, maintaining appropriate patient ratios per area • Assist anesthesia providers with nerve blocks and related procedures • Participate in a variable on-call rotation as required by the unit • Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system • Collaborate as an active team member to deliver excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment Required Qualifications • Active RN license valid in the state of Florida (or compact license eligibility) • Prior experience in Pre-Op, Phase 2 recovery, infusion, or preadmission testing (PAT) — candidates without this background will not be considered • Ability to fulfill a variable call schedule requirement • Strong adaptability and ability to function effectively in a busy, multi-area outpatient unit Preferred Experience / Skills • Endoscopy (ENDO) experience strongly preferred • Familiarity with Meditech EMR — candidates with prior Meditech experience will acclimate more quickly to the unit workflow • Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center or similarly complex acute care environment Why Join Us • Join a collaborative, high-energy outpatient surgery team known for its positive culture, approachable surgeons and anesthesiologists, and a genuine commitment to supporting one another • Work in a well-established unit with a strong, experienced staff and a variety of shift options in a consistently busy clinical environment
