Job Title Travel RN – Medical Surgical Location Nashville, TN | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care on a 14-bed Medical Surgical unit with a 1:4 or 1:5 patient ratio • Document patient information and care activities using the Meditech electronic documentation system • Collaborate with unit secretaries, charge nurses, and support staff to ensure continuity of care • Fulfill scheduling requirements including 4 weekend shifts per schedule period • Adhere to floating policy, with contract staff expected to float first as needed Required Qualifications • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required • Prior Medical Surgical nursing experience Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience with Meditech documentation systems • Familiarity with Med Surg workflows in an acute care hospital setting • Previous travel nursing experience Why Join Us • Work within a Joint Commission Thrombectomy Certified facility, reflecting a commitment to high-quality, specialized patient care • Join a well-supported unit with dedicated unit secretaries and charge nurse coverage to help you focus on patient care
