Job Title Ultrasound Technologist – Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer Location Newburyport, MA | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 8/12-Hour Rotating Shifts | No Self-Scheduling | Call Required | Weekends Required | Holidays Required | Hours of Operation: Monday–Friday 0700–2300; Weekends 0600–1800; Weekday Call 2300–0600; Weekend Call 1800–0600 Key Responsibilities • Perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging with a focus on OB/GYN, Breast, and Abdominal studies • Operate and document within Epic electronic health record system • Participate in on-call rotation including weekday and weekend call shifts • Float to offsite locations as needed to support departmental coverage • Adhere to departmental protocols and imaging standards across all assigned locations Required Qualifications • Minimum 4–5 years of ultrasound technologist experience required • Proficiency in OB/GYN, Breast, and Abdominal ultrasound modalities required • Epic experience required • Flu vaccination required prior to start • Must be available for rotating shifts, on-call, weekends, and holidays • If previously employed by the hiring health system, must have been separated for 6 or more months and be in good standing to be considered Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience working across multiple facilities or offsite imaging locations • Familiarity with high-volume, fast-paced imaging environments • Strong adaptability and willingness to float as departmental needs require Why Join Us • Expected 72 hours biweekly, providing consistent and predictable scheduling on this contract assignment (on-call hours worked are in addition to the expected base hours) • Opportunity to work across multiple locations, expanding clinical exposure and professional experience
