Job Title Travel RN – Emergency Room Location San Jose, CA | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | 12 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Every other weekend required Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care in a 36-bed Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient ratio (1:1 or 2:1 for critical care patients) • Operate within a Stroke and STEMI center environment, responding to high-acuity cases • Utilize Meditech EMR and Philips equipment to document and manage patient care • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, CNAs, and sitters across day shifts • Maintain current PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications throughout the assignment Required Qualifications • Active RN license valid in California • Minimum 3–5 years of Emergency Department experience in an acute care hospital setting • Current PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications required Preferred Experience / Skills • Charge nurse experience in an Emergency Department • Prior travel or interim nursing experience in California Why Join Us • Opportunity to work in a high-acuity Stroke and STEMI center within a well-staffed Emergency Department • Collaborative team environment with a strong focus on patient-centered care
