Restaurant General Manager
Dallas, TX
An upscale, chef-driven restaurant is seeking a General Manager to lead a busy operation with exceptional hospitality, strong financial performance, and a positive team culture. We are looking for a hands-on leader who thrives on the floor, builds lasting guest relationships, and partners closely with culinary leadership. This is not a “fix it” role. This is to continue to refine and “push the envelope role”.
Benefits

• Medical, dental, and vision benefits.
• Paid time off.
• Dining privileges and discounts.
• Career growth opportunities within a growing hospitality organization.
Requirements/Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years of senior leadership experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager in an upscale, chef-driven high-volume restaurant.
• Proven experience leading a restaurant generating $7 million or more in annual revenue.
• Strong understanding of upscale dining service standards and guest expectations.
• Strong financial acumen, including P&L analysis, forecasting, labor management, purchasing, and inventory controls.
• Strong beverage knowledge across wine, spirits, cocktails, and beer.
• Demonstrated success recruiting, developing, and retaining large management and service teams.
• Exceptional communication, guest engagement, and service recovery skills.
• Ability to maintain operational standards, accurate administrative reporting, and compliance with health and alcohol service requirements.
• Collaborative leadership style, a team coach, leader not a boss.
Preferred Background & Skills
• Visible, hands-on leadership style with a passion for hospitality.
• Ability to build a culture of accountability, professionalism, teamwork, and employee development.
• Strong partnership with culinary and beverage leaders to deliver a consistent guest experience.
• Experience developing regular clientele and building lasting guest relationships.
• Ability to balance floor presence with administrative responsibilities and reporting deadlines.
• Experience strengthening training programs, service standards, and operating procedures.
