This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, solving problems, completing a variety of projects, and seeing immediate results. No two days are exactly the same; you may paint or make repairs one day and assist with landscaping, equipment maintenance, or a special event the next.
You will play an important role in creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our guests, sellers, and employees.
What You’ll Do
• Perform painting, patching, and general property upkeep.
• Maintain buildings, food stands, seller spaces, offices, warehouses, rides, fencing, and other market areas.
• Complete light carpentry and basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and repair work.
• Perform landscaping and grounds maintenance using equipment such as zero-turn mowers and trimmers.
• Assist with the maintenance and repair of carts, wagons, tools, and other equipment.
• Perform preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance as directed.
• Complete maintenance inspections and required work-order documentation.
• Support special events, property projects, and operational needs.
• Keep maintenance shops and storage areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Assist with inventory control of tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Safely operate golf carts and company vehicles.
• Follow all company policies, safety guidelines, and department procedures.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by the supervisor.
What We’re Looking For
• General working knowledge of landscaping equipment, including zero-turn mowers and trimmers.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical repairs, painting, and carpentry.
• Previous experience in property maintenance, landscaping, construction, hotel maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned work safely and efficiently.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team.
• Dependable, professional, and willing to take on a variety of responsibilities.
• A positive, hands-on, “can-do” attitude.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be able to safely operate golf carts, landscaping equipment, and company vehicles.
Physical Requirements
This is an active position that requires the ability to:
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Bend, crawl, climb, crouch, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach overhead.
• Safely lift and carry tools, equipment, and materials weighing approximately 25 to 40 pounds.
• Work safely in confined spaces and at elevated heights using ladders or scaffolding.
• Safely use hand tools, landscaping equipment, and maintenance equipment.
• Work in both indoor and outdoor areas throughout the property.
