## Basic Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). • 1+ year(s) of software development experience (internships, co-ops, acceptable). • Possess active CompTIA Security+ certification (or DoDM 8140.03 equivalent or higher certification). • Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows. • Basic understanding of software security concepts (e.g., confidentiality, integrity, authentication, authorization, secure coding principles). • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance. ## Desired Skills • Familiarity with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) testing and scanning. • Full software life-cycle development. • Basic knowledge of cloud container scanning. • Prior software development experience (Python). • Familiarity with Agile practices. • Familiarity with DevSecOps processes. • Eagerness to learn and stay current with emerging cybersecurity trends and technologies.
