Job Title Travel RN – Pediatric ICU (PICU) Location Wichita, KS | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care in a 15-bed Pediatric ICU at a Level II Trauma facility, maintaining a 2:1 patient ratio • Perform IV starts and blood draws as part of routine patient care • Assist with TPT placements and other unit-level procedures • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary night shift team including Intensivists and Respiratory Therapists • Utilize Meditech / CPN EMR for accurate and timely documentation • Deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced, teaching hospital environment Required Qualifications • Active RN license • Minimum 1 year of current hospital PICU RN experience • BLS certification required • PALS certification required Preferred Experience / Skills • CRRT experience • APHON certification • Prior experience in a pediatric teaching hospital setting Why Join Us • Join a well-staffed, experienced PICU team of 38 staff members equipped with general cardiac/respiratory monitoring technology in a Level II Trauma environment • Work alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team in a unit that values patient care excellence and performance under pressure
