Job Title RN – Acute Care / Med-Surg Adult (Nights) Location Glenwood Springs, CO | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Full-Time | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts including Weekend Rotation Key Responsibilities • Provide high-quality nursing care to adult med-surg and acute care patients, including those with orthopedic, cardiac, and acute/chronic illness presentations • Plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care utilizing the nursing process • Apply specialized knowledge related to critical disease states to support patient outcomes • Participate in weekend rotation as part of the standard schedule • Participate in on-call rotation, expected at approximately 1 call shift per 2-week period based on staffing needs Required Qualifications • Current RN license valid in the state of Colorado • Minimum of 2 years of Acute Care, Med-Surg, Telemetry, or similar RN experience • Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) • Current ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) • Current Flu Vaccine required – no exemptions accepted Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation • Familiarity with post-operative orthopedic patient care • Experience in observation (OBS) unit settings Why Join Us • Work in a growing acute care environment serving a dynamic patient population in the Colorado Mountains • Traveler housing options may be available nearby, including fully furnished units with utilities and Wi-Fi included, based on availability
