Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Location Cleveland, OH | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Expected schedule includes every Saturday and Sunday plus one additional weekday per week Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit within an acute care hospital setting • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data; ECG rhythm recognition assessment required during orientation • Administer medications safely and accurately; safeMedicate assessment required during orientation with a minimum passing score • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans • Complete required annual hands-on competency training and facility-assigned modules as directed • Maintain active BLS and ACLS certifications and adhere to all facility compliance and credentialing requirements Required Qualifications • Minimum of 12 months of permanent Medical Surgical/Telemetry RN experience required • Active, permanent Ohio RN license or valid Compact state license must be in hand at time of submission — no pending licenses accepted • Active AHA BLS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission • Active AHA ACLS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission • One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months is required; Charge RN references are accepted • No open background case hits or license hits; any background findings are subject to facility review Preferred Experience / Skills • NIHSS certification preferred • Experience concentrated within a single facility or location is preferred, though not required • Familiarity with ECG rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring Why Join Us • Opportunity to work within a well-established acute care health system with a structured onboarding and competency development program • Local candidates are welcome and considered at the same rate as traveling candidates
