Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Location Burlington, MA | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Rotating Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM / 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Shifts rotate in 4-week blocks between days and nights | Every other weekend required (Day weekends: Saturday & Sunday; Night weekends: Friday, Saturday & Sunday) | Holiday time off during the Christmas period is not available Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit with nurse-to-patient ratios ranging from 1:4 to 1:6 • Float to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units as needed; floating occurs in 4-hour blocks during shift • Utilize the Epic electronic health record system for documentation and patient management • Complete a day-one pass/fail skills assessment upon start; practice materials will be made available in advance • Maintain BLS certification (American Heart Association) throughout the assignment Required Qualifications • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license • BLS certification – American Heart Association (AHA) required • Epic electronic health record experience required • Expected hours of 72 hours biweekly; on-call hours are not included in this expectation • Weekly start dates available (Mondays) Preferred Experience / Skills • ACLS certification – American Heart Association (AHA) preferred • NIHSS certification preferred • Level 1 trauma experience preferred; candidates without prior travel nursing experience will be required to have Level 1 trauma experience Why Join Us • Opportunity to work in a dynamic acute care environment with exposure to a variety of patient populations and care settings • Weekly start dates offer flexibility in timing your next travel assignment
