Job Title Registered Nurse – ICU Location Burbank, CA | Acute Care Hospital Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | Onsite Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting at a 392-bed acute care hospital, maintaining a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio • Apply Neuro ICU experience in the assessment, monitoring, and management of critically ill patients • Utilize Meditech for accurate and timely clinical documentation and charting • Float between like units or sister facilities as needed to meet facility staffing needs • Participate in weekend coverage, with an expected schedule of every other weekend (approximately 4 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period) • Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day Required Qualifications • Active RN license — compact license must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses are not accepted • Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience required; first-time travelers are not accepted • Neuro ICU experience is required; candidates should reflect a 3–4 proficiency level on the ICU skills checklist • Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, and NIH Stroke Scale • Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible • All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of candidate submission; post-submission RTO may not be considered or granted • 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start (may include Charge RNs or Leads) Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience with specialized ICU equipment utilized in an acute care hospital setting • Familiarity with Meditech charting system • Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU or critical care environment Why Join Us • Free on-site parking available for all staff • No on-call requirement, and scrubs of any color are welcome
