Job Title Registered Nurse – ICU Location Burbank, CA | Acute Care Hospital Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | Onsite Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting at a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio • Perform neurological assessments and apply neuro-focused clinical skills throughout the course of patient care — Neuro experience is required • Utilize facility charting system (Meditech) to accurately document patient information and care • Float between like units as needed to meet facility staffing needs • Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day • Participate in every-other-weekend scheduling, with an expected 4 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period Required Qualifications • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — compact license must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses are not accepted • ACLS certification required • BCLS certification required • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHS) certification required • Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required; first-time travelers are not accepted • Demonstrated neuro experience with skills checklist scores of 3–4 required • Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible • All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial submission; post-submission RTO requests may not be considered Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience with specialized ICU equipment utilized in an acute care hospital setting • Familiarity with Meditech electronic health records system • Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU or critical care environment Why Join Us • Free parking on-site and a flexible scrub color policy create a comfortable, low-stress work environment • Opportunity to work in a well-established acute care hospital with a sizeable inpatient census, offering meaningful clinical exposure and professional growth
