Job Title Registered Nurse – ICU Location Burbank, CA | Acute Care Hospital Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting at a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio • Demonstrate and apply Neuro ICU experience as a core clinical competency — this is a hard requirement • Utilize facility charting system (Meditech) for accurate and timely documentation • Float between like units as needed to meet facility staffing needs • Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day • Work every other weekend to meet facility scheduling needs, totaling approximately 4 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period Required Qualifications • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — compact license must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses are not accepted • Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required; first-time travelers are not accepted • Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, and NIH Stroke Scale • Strong Neuro experience required; candidates should reflect a 3–4 level proficiency on the skills checklist • Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible • All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial submission; post-submission RTO requests may not be considered • 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start (may include Charge RNs or Leads) Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience with specialized ICU equipment utilized at acute care facilities • Familiarity with Meditech charting system • Prior experience at a large acute care hospital (approximately 400 beds) Why Join Us • Free on-site parking available for all staff • No on-call requirements and scrubs of any color are welcome — a flexible, clinician-friendly environment
