Job Title Registered Nurse – Case Manager Location Anchorage, AK | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00–17:30) | Onsite Key Responsibilities • Perform case management functions within an acute hospital setting, coordinating care across the continuum for assigned patients • Utilize Epic electronic health record system for all documentation and charting • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate discharge planning, utilization review, and resource management • Float within scope to meet facility needs, including potential float to affiliate hospitals nearby • Participate in weekend rotation (every other weekend or 4 weekend days per 4-week schedule) • Be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Required Qualifications • Active Alaska RN license in hand required (pending license candidates may be screened, but an active AK RN license is required for offer) • BLS certification required • Minimum 1 year of experience in case management or a related RN role • Acute care experience required • Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system required • Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates accepted Preferred Experience / Skills • Accredited Case Manager (ACM) certification preferred • Experience working in a Magnet-designated or Level II Trauma facility • Familiarity with utilization review and discharge planning best practices Why Join Us • Opportunity to work at a nationally recognized, Magnet-designated Level II Trauma facility in Alaska, offering a dynamic and high-acuity clinical environment • Expected 70 hours per two-week pay period, with scrubs provided and free parking on-site
