Job Title Registered Nurse – Case Manager Location Anchorage, AK | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00–17:30) | Onsite Key Responsibilities • Perform case management functions within an acute hospital setting, coordinating patient care across the continuum • Utilize Epic for all clinical documentation and charting • Participate in weekend rotation — every other weekend or 4 weekend days within a 4-week schedule • Float within scope to meet facility needs, including to affiliate hospitals nearby • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate discharge planning and utilization review • Be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Required Qualifications • Active Alaska RN License (must be in hand at time of submission for immediate consideration) • BLS Certification (required) • Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care setting • Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system • Hepatitis B vaccine required (titers and declinations are not accepted) • Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted Preferred Experience / Skills • Accredited Case Manager (ACM) certification preferred • Prior travel nursing experience welcomed — first-time travelers are also considered • Familiarity with utilization management and discharge planning workflows Why Join Us • Opportunity to work at a nationally recognized Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma facility — rated among the best hospitals in Alaska • Expected 70 hours per two-week period with scrubs provided and complimentary on-site parking
