Job Title Registered Nurse – Case Manager Location Anchorage, AK | Acute Care Hospital Schedule / Job Type Contract (13 or 26 Weeks) | Days | 4x10 or 5x8 | Shift times vary between 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM windows | Every other weekend required | Onsite Key Responsibilities • Perform case management functions within an acute hospital setting, including care coordination, discharge planning, and utilization review • Document and chart patient information accurately using Epic EMR • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate appropriate and timely patient transitions • Float within the hospital or to affiliate facilities as needed to meet operational demands • Participate in weekend coverage on a rotating basis (every other weekend or 4 weekend days per 4-week schedule) • Be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Required Qualifications • Active Alaska RN License in hand required (pending license candidates may be screened, but active license is required for offer) • BLS Certification required • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (first-time travelers accepted) • Acute care experience required • Epic EMR experience required • Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates accepted Preferred Experience / Skills • Accredited Case Manager (ACM) Certification preferred • Prior travel nursing experience in a case management or care coordination role • Familiarity with utilization management and payer requirements in an acute hospital environment Why Join Us • Opportunity to work at a nationally recognized Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma facility in Alaska, rated among the best hospitals in the state • Expected 72 hours per two-week pay period, with scrubs provided and complimentary on-site parking
