Job Title Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab Location Anchorage, AK | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Cardiac Cath Lab setting within a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma facility • Participate in on-call coverage, including one on-call day per week and every fourth/fifth weekend (Friday 6:00 PM – Monday 7:30 AM) • Participate in weekend scheduling, including approximately one Saturday per month as part of the regular four-shift weekly schedule • Float within scope to EP or IR departments as needed to meet facility demands • Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records • Be available to work two out of three major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Required Qualifications • Active Alaska RN license required; candidates with a pending Alaska RN license will be considered, but license must be in hand prior to offer confirmation • BLS certification required • ACLS certification required • Minimum of 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience • Willingness and ability to work on-call shifts and required holiday coverage • Hepatitis B vaccination required; titers and declinations are not accepted by the facility • Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered Preferred Experience / Skills • Electrophysiology (EP) experience strongly preferred • Interventional Radiology (IR) experience a plus • Prior experience with Epic charting system Why Join Us • Opportunity to work at a nationally recognized, Magnet-designated facility rated among the best hospitals in Alaska, offering a dynamic and high-acuity clinical environment • Scrubs provided and parking available at no cost, supporting a straightforward and convenient work experience
