Job Title Registered Nurse – Emergency Room Location Naperville, IL | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | 8-Week Assignment | 12-Hour Evening Shifts (3:00 PM – 3:00 AM) | Rotating Weekends | Holidays as needed per department scheduling (at a minimum 3 between Thanksgiving and New Year's Day) Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting during evening shift hours • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective patient treatment • Document patient information and care accurately using Epic EMR • Participate in rotating weekend and holiday coverage as required by department scheduling • Complete 2 x 12-hour orientation shifts at the start of the assignment Required Qualifications • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Illinois • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience • BLS certification required • ACLS certification required • PALS certification required • TNCC and NIHSS Certification required • Proficiency with Epic EMR required • New graduates will not be considered Preferred Experience / Skills • 4 or more years of Emergency Room nursing experience • Experience managing high-acuity and trauma patients in a busy ER environment Why Join Us • Opportunity to work in a dynamic Emergency Room environment with a supportive interdisciplinary team • Bi-weekly payroll processing for consistent and reliable compensation
