Job Title Registered Nurse – Emergency Room Location Dayton, OH | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (Flex: 17:00–05:30 or 19:00–07:30) | Onsite | Every other weekend and holiday required Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Emergency Department setting • Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic EMR • Float within the hospital or to nearby affiliated campuses based on census and skill set, including high-risk respiratory units; candidates must be comfortable floating with no restrictions • Maintain compliance with all required certifications and complete up to 24 hours of orientation modules • Participate in every other weekend and holiday rotation as scheduled Required Qualifications • Valid Ohio Registered Nurse License (any active state RN license or compact license accepted for submission; Ohio license must be obtained prior to contract start) • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) • ACLS certification required • PALS certification required • TNCC certification required • CPI, AVADE, or CalmEveryStorm certification required • Minimum of 1.5 years of Emergency Department experience • Epic EMR experience required • Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience working in a high-volume or Level I/II trauma Emergency Department • Comfort with floating to varied units and adapting to fluctuating census demands • Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care environment Why Join Us • Opportunity to work in a dynamic Emergency Department with a well-established health system in the Dayton, OH area • Up to 24 hours of orientation modules may be billable, supporting a smooth transition into the role
