Job Title Registered Nurse – ICU / PCU Location Mission Hills, CA | Acute Care Hospital Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care in an ICU/PCU setting with a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio • Perform comprehensive assessments, monitoring, and interventions for critically ill patients • Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic electronic health records • Float within skillset to sister facilities nearby as needed • Participate in every-other-weekend scheduling and commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) • Complete required orientation modules prior to and during the start of the assignment Required Qualifications • Active, unencumbered California RN license or valid Compact license — must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses are not accepted • Minimum 1 year of ICU/PCU experience required • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and LA County Fire Card • Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests at the time of submission — post-submission RTO requests may not be considered • Must be willing to float between sister facilities within skillset • Locals are welcome to apply (within 50 miles of the facility) Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience working in a Magnet-designated facility • Proficiency with Epic charting system • Prior travel nursing experience with demonstrated schedule flexibility Why Join Us • Work at a Magnet-designated acute care hospital with free on-site parking • Scrubs policy is flexible — any color accepted, with specific attire provided for applicable units
