Job Title Registered Nurse – First Assist / RNFA Location Pittsfield, MA | Acute Care / Operating Room Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days, 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) | On-Call as Needed Key Responsibilities • Serve as a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) in a surgical setting, providing direct intraoperative support • Float to the main Operating Room as needed to support surgical teams • Assist surgeons during procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes • Respond to on-call needs as required by the department • Maintain compliance with all facility and regulatory standards throughout the assignment Required Qualifications • Active Massachusetts RN license required at time of submission (conditional license accepted) • Minimum 3 years of experience as an RNFA • CNOR certification required • ACLS and BLS certifications required • COVID vaccination status required • Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be accepted • Former employees of the affiliated health system must have been separated for at least 2 years prior to returning as a traveler Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience floating across multiple OR suites or surgical service lines • Familiarity with a high-volume acute care surgical environment • Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into an established surgical team Why Join Us • Opportunity to work in a dynamic surgical environment with an expected schedule of four 10-hour day shifts per week • Immediate start available for qualified candidates ready to make an impact
