As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. You will use clear communication and computer or tablet tools to support security-related operations while contributing to Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.89 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSat04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do: • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. • Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures. • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout office areas, building exteriors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. • Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation. • Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding observed conditions, policy questions, and response activities. Minimum Requirements: • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. • Customer service experience is preferred. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
