Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat07:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun07:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: • Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical manufacturing location. • Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, processing authorized visitors and contractors, maintaining entry records, and communicating access concerns to appropriate site contacts. • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures. • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facility grounds, perimeter areas, and designated restricted locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. • Prepare accurate reports and shift documentation regarding access activity, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: • At least one year of security-related experience is required. • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred. • Experience with alarm panels is preferred. • Customer service experience is preferred. • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
