Summary The Executive Pastor of Ministries aligns Southeast’s campus, missions, and CMT leaders around the heart, mission, and culture of the Senior Pastor, and leads the strategies that carry that vision out. Reporting to the Senior Pastor and serving on the Executive Leadership Team (XLT), this role provides soul care, leadership development, and accountability to the leaders it oversees, and leads staff-wide development so that every ministry is aligned with our mission to unleash the full force of the church to love people one at a time. What You Will Be Doing: • Align campus, missions, and CMT leaders with the Senior Pastor’s heart, mission, and culture, and guide each campus and ministry in building a strategic plan tied to that vision. • Serve as the connecting voice between the campuses and senior leadership, reporting regularly to the Senior Pastor and XLT on campus health, needs, and measurables, and carrying vision and direction back to the campuses. • Provide soul care, leadership development, and accountability to direct-report leaders, including Regional and Lead Campus Pastors, mission leaders, and CMT leaders, through regular one-on-ones and performance reviews. • Maintain a regular, in-person presence at the campuses, providing leadership, coaching, and accountability on site. • Lead staff-wide development, including the Ministry Leader Meeting, staff development programming, and the growth and focus of the XLT. • Oversee the Weekend Experience, Production Arts, Creative Arts, Preaching, Campus Development, and Church-Wide Initiatives teams, ensuring every ministry and staff member is aligned with and advancing the church’s mission, vision, and values. What We Are Looking For: • Strategic mindset, with a proven ability to translate a senior leader’s vision into clear, executable strategy across multiple campuses and ministries. • Delivers results consistently through a portfolio of leaders and ministries, including in difficult seasons. • Holds leaders accountable to the mission, vision, and values with clear expectations and consistent follow-through. • A track record of growing the capacity and character of leaders and building a bench of future leaders. • Builds unified leadership teams and works through disagreement among leaders directly, protecting the culture. • Earns the trust of the Senior Pastor, peers, and leaders through honesty, follow-through, and authenticity. Our Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Bible, Ministry, Christian Education, or Organizational Leadership, or equivalent experience; Master’s degree preferred. • 10+ years of vocational ministry leadership in a church setting, including leading leaders across multiple campuses, ministries, or locations. • Ordained pastor, or willing to become ordained. • Meets the qualifications of Elders and Deacons as outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1–13, and able to articulate a call to ministry. • Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church, or willing to become one. • Exemplifies our seven staff values: Honor, Care, Accountability, Grit, Authenticity, Humility, and Fun. • Leads by example fulfilling the staff expectations of groups, inviting, serving, worship and giving. • Agree with the *Statement of Faith, submit to the leadership established by the church, and lives out our church Mantras in tangible ways. https://www.southeastchristian.org/who-we-are#mantras *Please read our Statement of Faith that is attached below. You will be asked if you agree with our Statement of Faith within the application process. #LI-DNP #LI-DNI
