Insurance eligibility and plan details will be explained during hiring. Position Overview Join the guest service team at our Westport Taquería & Cantina in Kansas City, Missouri. This front-of-house role includes counter service, cashier work, bringing food to guests, and keeping guest areas clean. You will help guests order and make sure takeout and delivery orders are correct. About TACO NACO KC TACO NACO KC is a Mexican-owned, women-led, chef-driven taquería with locations in Overland Park, Westport, and State Line. We began with catering and farmers’ markets. Key Responsibilities • Greet guests, explain menu items, answer questions, and confirm special requests before entering orders. • Take food and drink orders and handle payments accurately using the register system. • Check names, items, sauces, and other order details before handing off takeout and delivery orders. • Bring food to guests, help serve drinks as assigned, and tell the kitchen and bar about order changes. • Clear and clean tables and keep the dining area, counter, and guest spaces ready for service. • Restock packaging, utensils, beverages, and service supplies before they run low. • Follow food safety, cash-handling, opening, and closing procedures. Ask a manager for help with guest concerns. Qualifications • Friendly, respectful communication with guests and teammates. • Attention to order details and the ability to stay organized when several guests need help. • Reliable attendance and willingness to learn the menu and use feedback to improve. • Restaurant, cashier, retail, or customer service experience is helpful, but not required. Spanish skills are welcome. Ideal Candidate You make guests feel welcome, offer help to teammates, and act when something needs attention. You treat every order and guest concern with care.
