A growing commercial cleaning and facility services company is seeking a motivated, hands-on Field Operations Manager to help oversee daily operations and lead a team. This is an opportunity for someone who is willing to learn the business from the ground up, starting with hands-on field training before transitioning into a leadership role. The ideal candidate will learn the company’s cleaning standards and procedures, then take responsibility for coordinating staff, overseeing job sites, and ensuring high-quality service. Responsibilities: Learn the company’s cleaning procedures and service standards through hands-on training. Train, supervise, and manage a team. Coordinate daily assignments, schedules, and field operations. Visit job sites to monitor work quality, progress, and staff performance. Ensure jobs are completed efficiently, on schedule, and to company standards. Address on-site issues and resolve operational challenges. Communicate with management regarding staffing, scheduling, and job progress. Ensure employees follow proper cleaning procedures and safety guidelines. Help establish and improve operational processes as the company grows. Qualifications: Experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, facilities, or field operations is preferred. Previous team leadership or supervisory experience is a plus. Willingness to learn hands-on cleaning procedures and lead by example. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage a small team and coordinate daily responsibilities. Reliable, punctual, proactive, and comfortable with hands-on work. Active NY Driver’s License Ability to travel between job sites as needed.
