The company is entering a pivotal stage of growth, with IND-enabling activities underway and plans to transition into the clinic following its next financing round. They are seeking a fractional Chief Medical Officer, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent CMO role as the business evolves. Role focus: Lead clinical development strategy through IND and Phase I. Provide medical leadership across regulatory, clinical and corporate activities. Partner closely with the CEO, Board and scientific founders. Support investor interactions and external scientific engagement. Candidate profile: MD with board certification in Cardiology. Significant clinical development leadership experience within biotech/pharma. Experience leading INDs and early-stage cardiovascular programs. Entrepreneurial, hands-on and comfortable in a lean biotech environment.
