Machinist Starting Pay: $35.00/hour and Up depending on experience Per Diem: $150/day (paid 7 days per week for qualifying traveling employees) We're seeking dependable Machine Technicians / Machinists to support advanced manufacturing operations in Morristown, Tennessee. This position offers hands-on work with CNC and conventional machining equipment while providing opportunities to expand your skills in a clean, modern manufacturing environment. What You'll Do • Operate NC and CNC lathes, turning centers, drills, saws, hard-boring equipment, hobs, shapers, tooth rounders, and other machining equipment. • Perform machine setups with training and support. • Change tooling and fixtures as required. • Follow written work instructions and setup documentation. • Monitor machine performance and product quality using process control procedures. • Perform routine machine maintenance and adjustments. • Handle materials and assist with production flow. • Maintain production standards while meeting cycle time requirements. • Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy. • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. • Assist with other manufacturing operations as needed. Qualifications • Experience operating CNC or conventional machining equipment preferred. • Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting abilities. • Experience with machine setups, tooling changes, or manufacturing operations. • Ability to read work instructions and basic blueprints. • Commitment to quality and workplace safety. • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic. • Forklift experience is a plus.
