This role oversees daily operations, supports nursing staff, promotes regulatory compliance, and helps ensure exceptional resident outcomes. This position participates in the nursing leadership on-call rotation, including one weekday per week and one weekend every four weeks. Key Responsibilities • Oversee daily clinical operations of an assigned resident care unit • Supervise and support LPNs, CNAs, and nursing staff • Monitor resident conditions and ensure timely intervention for changes in status • Conduct rounds and address resident, family, and staff concerns • Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and regulatory compliance • Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary team conferences • Support survey readiness and quality improvement initiatives • Partner with physicians, therapists, and department leaders to achieve positive resident outcomes • Assist with staff development, coaching, education, and performance management • Promote a positive, team-oriented environment focused on resident care excellence Qualifications • Current, unrestricted South Carolina RN license • Current CPR certification • Supervisory or leadership experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred • Knowledge of clinical documentation, care planning, and regulatory compliance • Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills • Must maintain licensure in good standing with the South Carolina Board of Nursing What Makes You a Great Fit? • Natural leader who enjoys mentoring and supporting others • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities • Organized, proactive, and resident-focused • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills • Committed to providing exceptional care and customer service • Thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment Apply Today!
