POSITION OVERVIEW The Systems Engineer I supports systems design, test, and analysis in support of product development and manufacturing. WHAT YOU’LL DO • Support systems design in a cross-functional engineering team to develop and launch new products. • Contribute to system architectures including interface definition and description. • Conduct system tests using procedures and methods for system verification and validation. • Learn analysis and simulation tools to aid in system design and test. • Participate in cross-functional design reviews. • Follow Gentex system engineering processes and ensure products meet Gentex quality standards. • Stay current with technology, manufacturing, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement of products, process, and methods. • Other duties as assigned. WHAT TO BRING • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. WHAT WILL HELP • Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field. • Professional work experience in new product development.
