In this Vice President of Construction & Development opportunity, you’ll lead full-cycle projects and guide a team to execute with precision from planning through closeout. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Vice President of Construction & Development position include: • 10+ years of relevant construction and development experience, including progressive management responsibilities. • Proven full-cycle ground-up construction experience from initial planning and permitting through construction, completion, and final closeout. • Demonstrated experience in multifamily residential, single-family residential, and commercial plaza development projects. • Experience managing multiple concurrent construction projects and leading a construction or development team. • Strong understanding of construction schedules, budgets, permitting, subcontractor management, inspections, and project closeout. • Ability to independently manage daily construction operations and make sound decisions. • Provide executive communication and reporting directly to the CEO, including regular updates on progress, budgets, schedules, risks, and recommendations. • Lead ground-up projects end-to-end, coordinate with architects/engineers/GCs/subcontractors/consultants/government agencies, and proactively identify risks such as delays, cost overruns, and permitting issues.
