Job Title Registered Nurse – Emergency Room / Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) Location Austin, TX | Freestanding Emergency Department Schedule / Job Type Contract (13 Weeks) | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Rotating Weekends Required | No On-Call Required Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced freestanding emergency department setting • Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of emergency conditions • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes • Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the electronic health record Required Qualifications • Active RN license in the state of Texas (or compact license eligibility) • Current BLS certification required • Current ACLS certification required • Minimum of 1–2 years of emergency room nursing experience • Ability to work rotating weekends as required Preferred Experience / Skills • Prior experience in a freestanding emergency department (FSED) environment • TNCC or CEN certification preferred • Experience with high-acuity and multi-trauma patient populations Why Join Us • Opportunity to work in a dynamic emergency care setting with a dedicated clinical team • No on-call obligations, offering a more predictable schedule within your contract period
