Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Location Burlington, MA | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Night Shift | Every other weekend required (Fri, Sat, Sun for nights) | Weekly start dates (Mondays) Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours • Maintain patient ratios of 1:3–5 and float as needed to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units • Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition • Complete day-one competency assessment upon assignment start • Adhere to unit protocols and documentation standards using Epic EMR Required Qualifications • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license • BLS certification – American Heart Association (AHA) required • Epic EMR experience required • Must not have been employed at this facility (permanent, per diem, or contract) within the past 6 months to be eligible • Candidates without prior travel nursing experience must have Level 1 trauma experience to be considered • Expected 72 hours biweekly; on-call hours are not included in expected hours Preferred Experience / Skills • ACLS certification – American Heart Association (AHA) • NIHSS certification • Level 1 trauma experience • Prior travel nursing experience Why Join Us • Opportunity to work in a dynamic acute care environment with exposure to a diverse patient population across multiple care settings • Consistent scheduling with weekly start dates and a predictable biweekly hour expectation
