Job Title Multimodality CT / X-Ray Technologist Location Charleston, SC | Acute Care (Teaching Hospital / Level 1 Trauma) Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every other weekend required | No on-call required Key Responsibilities • Perform quality diagnostic imaging in both X-ray and CT modalities within scope of practice • Effectively explain imaging procedures to patients and ensure competency prior to performing each exam • Produce diagnostic images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner • Provide patient-centered care throughout the imaging process, maintaining safety and comfort standards • May float to like units within scope to meet facility needs • Wear and maintain a radiation monitoring badge at all times — badge must be provided by the placing agency Required Qualifications • Active ARRT registration in both Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT) • SCRQSA certification required • BLS certification required • ACLS certification required (pending accepted if obtained within 2–3 weeks of hire) • Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers considered but not preferred • Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience in Emergency, Trauma, and Pediatric imaging settings • Proficiency with orthopedic exams in both X-ray and CT modalities • Familiarity with Siemens equipment, Epic EMR, and PACS • Previous experience in a Magnet-designated or Level 1 Trauma facility Why Join Us • Opportunity to work in a large, Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital with 865 staffed beds • Dynamic imaging environment offering exposure to a high-acuity, diverse patient population across multiple modalities
