Job Title Registered Nurse – Telemetry Location Florence, KY | Telemetry / Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00–07:30 Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit, including pre-cardiac cath preparation and port management • Support ED boarders — patients awaiting inpatient beds — across the facility system, delivering inpatient-level care • Float as needed to Observation, Medical-Surgical, and MS Telemetry units across multiple campuses • Document and manage patient records using Epic (experience required) • Adhere to weekend coverage expectations: 4 weekend shifts (2 Saturdays and 2 Sundays) per 6-week period, along with 3 Mondays and 3 Fridays • Maintain compliance with facility dress code, including navy blue scrubs with no agency or brand logos Required Qualifications • Minimum 1.5 years of Telemetry nursing experience; experience with pre-cardiac cath procedures and managing ports required • Travel nursing experience required • Active Compact RN License required at time of submission • ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required • Proficiency with Epic EMR required • COVID vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered); Flu vaccination required • Must live within 75 miles of the facility to be considered as a local candidate; local candidates are accepted • At least 2 supervisory references required Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience floating between multiple hospital campuses or units • Familiarity with Observation unit workflows and ED boarding protocols • Ability to adapt to block scheduling arrangements when operationally feasible Why Join Us • Opportunity to work within a multi-campus health system with diverse patient populations across Telemetry, Observation, and Medical-Surgical settings • Free on-site parking available in any unrestricted space
