Job Title Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery Location Columbus, OH | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care within a Labor and Delivery unit throughout all stages of the perinatal experience • Perform and maintain IV starts and other clinical skills specific to Labor and Delivery • Utilize the Epic EMR system for accurate and timely documentation of patient care • May be required to float to other units as determined by staffing needs • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective maternal and neonatal outcomes Required Qualifications • Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required • Active RN license — valid compact or Ohio state license must be in hand at time of submission • Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program • BLS certification required • ACLS certification required • NRP certification required • Proficiency with Epic EMR required • Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process promptly upon contract signing; candidates outside Ohio may be required to travel to an in-state fingerprinting location or complete a mailed packet urgently upon receipt • 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be from a manager, director, or formal leadership role (charge RN acceptable as second reference; no coworker references) • Local candidates are welcome and accepted • Former employees of the hiring facility may be eligible after a minimum 6-month separation; current employees of any affiliated Ohio location are not eligible for a travel assignment Preferred Experience / Skills • Previous travel nursing experience preferred • Strong adaptability and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity Labor and Delivery environment Why Join Us • Opportunity to work in a high-volume, academically affiliated medical center with a dynamic Labor and Delivery program • Multiple parking options available near the facility, including garage access and shuttle service
