Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed06:00 AM - 02:00 PMThur06:00 AM - 02:00 PMFri06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, business areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions. • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity. • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services when directed. • Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures. Minimum Requirements: • An armed guard card or license is required. • A minimum of 3 years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience is required. • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. • Customer service experience is preferred. • Access control and badge experience is preferred. • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Participate in industry-specific security training programs. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
